Consumer Electronic Banking Security Update

Starting February 23, 2013, there will be changes to Central Savings Bank electronic banking log in process.

We will be updating our electronic banking security in the next few weeks. The upgrade will ensure that we are taking all the necessary steps to protect our customers information and sensitive data.

New security enhancements will change how you login to Internet Banking. Our upgraded security service will continue to allow you anytime/anywhere access to your financial information and will better protect your sensitive data.

Streamlined Login Process

After the upgrade, you will notice the picture and phrase that previously appeared when you logged in has been removed. In addition, you are no longer required to formally register your computer; the new system has technology to recognize if your computer has been used before to access the system. We are implementing a more secure and behind the scenes process to validate your device (PC, laptop, tablet, mobile phone), username and password.

Enhanced Security Settings

There will also be an additional layers of security in the event that you log in from a device that has not been used in the past. Instead of the simple challenge questions you used in the past, you will be asked to validate your identity through a one-time security code via a phone call or SMS message. If a phone is not available, you will be asked to answer a series of questions to validate your identity. These enhanced security features help safeguard your information.

The new log in process will start on February 23, 2013.

These changes will only affect the log in process. Your electronic banking functions will remain unchanged.
